Weekend Beer Festival Forecast for March 8 to 10, 2013
Two years ago, the Kona Beer Festival in Hawaii was forced to relocate because of damage from the horrific tsunami that devastated parts of Japan. Of course, it’s hard to predict such tragic natural catastrophes with any authority, but disasters of such magnitude fortunately remain rare.
Springtime weather should dominate many of the festivals this weekend, so that brings us to this week’s tip: Always prepare for the weather. Check the forecast – and look out the window – to see what to expect. Layer if it will be cold, wear rain gear or carry an umbrella if necessary, and slather on the sunscreen if it will be a sunny day.
