Ghost Face Killah: Hot time in the high country
Road Trips for Beer editor Gerard Walen recently returned from Snowmass Village, Colorado, where he covered the ski resort town’s ninth annual Chili Pepper & Brew Fest. We’ll have a full report and a video soon, but while editing the video, we came across this scene that deserves a separate post.
In the spirit of the festival, Gerard tracked down the legendary Ghost Face Killah chili beer from Twisted Pine Brewing Co. out of Boulder, Colorado. Named after rapper Ghostface Killah from the Wu-Tang Clan and brewed with six different chile peppers – Anaheim, Fresno, jalapeño, serrano, habenero, and ghost – the spicy malt beverage packs a fiery punch.
Watch Gerard’s reaction as the heat hits his palate.
