Suwanee American Craft Beer Festival Preview and Ticket Discount

The South boasts a lot of great things: down-home cooking, sweet juicy peaches, a laid-back lifestyle and some great beer festivals.

Organizers say its goals are simple – to celebrate the best American beers by the finest brewers from across the country and to have fun doing so. It will be happening Saturday, July 23, in Town Center Park in the middle of the quaint Southern town just a little more than 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. More than 150 brews, and plenty of local food and bands will be on hand for festival-goers.

And the price is pretty reasonable. General admission is $35 advance and $40 at the gate; VIP admission, which gets you in the door an hour earlier and gives you access to the VIP tent for access to limited and special edition brews, is only $5 more. The beer sampling runs from 1 to 5 p.m. for general admission, but the bands will be playing until 8.

The organizers were kind enough to offer a discount to readers of Road Trips for Beer. Just click here to buy tickets , and enter the promo code roadtrips4beer.

Road Trips for Beer correspondent Tonya Cooner-Vots will be covering the festival, so if you see her, be sure to say “howdy,” and look for her review next week.
