Portable Bar Gives Road Trippers a Place to Imbibe
We here at Road Trips for Beer have always wanted to hit the open road in an RV.
However, there are two things that have been keeping us from living that dream: a noticeable lack of the necessary cash and not having a portable bar to set up at our pit stops and destinations.
The folks at Dana, California-based Best of Times now offer a solution to Problem No. 2: the Best of Times Portable Bar & Entertainment Center. Portable, lightweight and sturdy, the product sets up or breaks down in minutes without tools (at least according to the company; I haven’t tried one yet).
Interchangeable image wraps can give a custom look to the bar with sport team logos, different themes or even a tiki-bar look. And it all packs away into a compact, wheeled travel bag when it comes time to hit the highway again. The basic kit weighs just 77 pounds.
It can be used indoors or out, so it’s not just limited to the RV crowd. It would be perfect for tailgating outside a stadium or for the “after party” at those beer festivals that allow camping.
The kit includes a sturdy steel frame, a UV-protected umbrella, shelving, a waterproof drop-in cooler for icing up your brews, and four padded bar stools. All you need to provide is the beer.
Prices vary depending on which accessories you include. For more information, go to the Best of Times website.

What a sweet piece to throw in the back of the truck! Perfect for tailgating, camping, or whatever… I need to get one of these!
