I’d like to invite you to visit my new beer blog, Beer in Florida.

Its existence owes itself to a few factors:

• I live in Florida and visit a lot of beer places that don’t quite fit into the broader focus of Road Trips for Beer. This new blog offers an outlet for me to write about these venues.
• Once considered a craft beer wasteland, Florida has come into its own with new breweries, brew pubs, and beer-focused pubs and restaurants opening regularly. Besides the already established players on the beer scene, I’ll be writing about the new guys, as well as events, festivals, tastings, etc.
• Florida is the most visited tourist destination in the country, so I figure if you’re taking a Road Trip for Beer there, Beer in Florida can be a more tightly focused resource for your planning.

I’ll still be covering the national and international beer travel scene here on Road Trips for Beer, so don’t go away. But I’d appreciate if you gave my new venture a look, too.
