The Stella Artois World Draught Master 2010 competition comes to a head tonight – and that head needs to be the width of two fingers.
Road Trips for Beer has been following this “Perfect Pour” contest, and now the trip to the world finals is complete for more than 30 bartenders from around the globe who have proven to be masters of the brand’s 9-step pouring ritual.
The winner will not only earn the title of “Createur de Beaute,” but will also become a global ambassador for the Belgian lager, traveling around the world to teach the people the proper pouring ritual.
The competition at the Old Billingsgate in London will be streamed live from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. UK time (3:30 p.m. EDT) at http://www.ustream.tv/stellaartois.
In the meantime, you can visit that site to watch video demonstrating the 9-step pouring ritual.
We’ll post the winner here, as soon as we know.
