Stella Artois announces winner of World Draught Master U.S. final

Photo courtesy of Stella ArtoisRoad Trips for Beer has been following the Stella Artois World  Draught Master competition this year, and the official winner of the U.S. finals has been announced. It’s Chris Myers of Wisconsin (shown at left), who proved before a panel of judges in Boston on Friday night that he has mastered the Stella Artois 9-Step Pouring Ritual.

Chris will compete for the title of World Draught Master in Old Billingsgate, London, on Oct. 28. If he tops the field there, he will embark on a quest during which he will visit more than 20 different countries as a Stella Artois brand ambassador and share his passion and dedication to the craft of the perfect pour.

Coming in second place was Brady Locher of Washington, D.C.; third place went to Scott Ast of Las Vegas.
