A pub with some drive
Now here’s public transportation that gets the Road Trips for Beer stamp of approval – a sightseeing tram that doubles as a pub on wheels.
One of our sister sites – Road Trips for Foodies – recently posted a story about the SpåraKOFF, a converted tram in Helsinki, Finland, that offers thirsty travelers a circular tour of the city.
The tram is a sign of spring in Finland’s capital city, having started operation in 1995. The red, 1950s-era tram serves Finnish beer and more and operates Wednesday through Saturday from May 19 to August 14.
The tram can also be booked for private functions.
